Thank-you Simms, for continuing to make felt-soled wading boots. After wearing out a pair of both your Rivershed and G3 boots with felt soles (loved them both!) I tried a pair Vapor boots with the Idrogrip soles. They are incredibly slippery, and I would have drowned if not for an inflatable life vest I had on the last time I wore them. Companies can make bold claims about rubber compounds providing similar traction to felt on wet rocks, but they are not even close! Anything this dangerous should be illegal, IMHO. I burned my Vapor's after this incident, because I could not bear to sell / give them to someone knowing how much danger they would be facing.
