Destiny 2: My top 5 must have Witch Queen Weapons (End of Season list)

Witch queen brought some GREAT weapons. Here is my top 5 and I want to hear yours. My list had a theme of "where is the value" and I give you my reasoning.

I had a Demo / Wellspring Ogma drop minutes into Day 1 Vow and I was HYPED after having watched your Ogma video a few days before. 100% going in my Solar 3.0 loadout that I'll be theory crafting this weekend.

First I wanted to thank you for the Ogma recommendation. I was hopeful for many drops for the wellspring demo combo that I did get!

1. Funnel Web (Undisputed champ)
2. Cantata (got a god roll really early on and it made Crucible feel very different when in a pinch)
3. Thoughtless (Overflow + Firing line was too fun)
4. Piece of Mind (all around work horse in all content)
5. Syncopation aka Consolation Prize from my friend (As much as my friend hates this gun, I love it. Early in the DLC, i got a vorpal roll that was great for the campaign. Now that I've crafted my outlaw headstone perk, I still look for another good one to drop. I'll probably just craft another)

My biggest surprise was honestly Syncopation. Gun was great in PVE and once I was able to craft Outlaw+Headstone, that was all she wrote. Great in pve with or without a staisis build. Amazing in trials in a pinch due to the glacier blocking the res. It played a small roll in getting me my first ever flawless.

I really enjoy Ogma. I managed to get both Adaptive Munitions/Disruption Break and Demo/Junkie and love them both.

The AM/DB roll has been my go-to for GMs, relieving the stress of dealing with rainbow shields and match game. It also makes followup Arbalest shots feel like they're doing heavy weapon damage. What's not to like?

I actually had the Unrelenting/Dragonfly roll but trashed it because...well...Dragonfly. But now that I know that Dragonfly actually compliments Unrelenting, I won't make that mistake again. Lesson learned.

Deliverance with enhanced demo/chill clip is insane with stasis turrets in PVE. that and chain reaction forbearance have risen to the top of the food chain for me. Also have a killer adept deliverance for crucible

I'm very thankful that I lucked into a Cantata with max stability, polygonal rifling, the option for steady rounds, and the stability. The last two perks are Eye of the Storm and timed payload. Such a smooth shooting experience. Sitting at 87 stability coupled with the suros perk, it'll trade punches with the meanest timelost Fatebringers and adept Palindromes out there. It'll only get better with the flinch changes next season, can't wait for it.

It's become my favorite energy handcannon. If you can deal with the slight ttk shift from timed payload it will stretch out the effective range enough to not really feel the bad range.

Highly recommend trying it if only for a few games to get that experience. Not for everyone, probably just controller fellas, but man I'm hooked on max stability weapons now lol.

1. Funnelweb with the exact same 3 and 4 colomn perk as yours.
2. Krait with Overflow and One4All.
3. Fortissimo with steady hand and adagio.
4. Cantata with Heating up and Timed Payload.
5. Father Sin's.

I'm a PVE player and a bow main. This season's bows have been outstanding. Here's my top 5, based mostly on my own usage:

1. Under Your Skin
2. Forensic Nightmare
3. Fel Taradiddle
4. Piece of Mind
5. Funnelweb

My personal #1 is Insidious. This is the only craftable weapon where I find myself saying "I need to make a second one."

There's so much going for this weapon due to the high-quality perk pool and stats. It accels in PvE, PvP and has the most diverse perk combination pool I've seen on any primary weapon.

In no particular order:
1: Krait, it’s so good. Veist Stinger, Overflow, Adagio. Nuff said.
2: Funnelweb. Need I say more?
3: Perses-D, just overall a decent gun with good rolls, replaceable but decent.
4: Reckless Endangerment. Fun gun, I am very particular to Steady hands or Perpetual Motion and Snapshot for PvP
5: Duty Bound. I know it’s not exactly new but I love the rpm and it’s rolls. So many useful perks and overall very good.

My issue with Cantata is I personally feel like I need at least a 4/5 if I'm ever gonna use it over the 5/5 palindrome I have. My top 3 though would be Piece of Mind (pvp) Forbearance (pve), and Deliverance (pvp).

I have Reed Regret with Surplus and.... Successful warmup... I can't tell you how much I love that thing especially in an invade situation in Gambit where you kill an enemy to proc warm-up and now you have a sniper of a LFR...
Also Frontiers. Cry with adagio and adaptive munitions is my goto shield breaker since I run Lucky Pants and Solar for the damage boost.

When Arc 3.0 comes around, having a Cantata with rapid hit and vorpal is going to make hunters wet their lucky pants.

When I first got an Ogma I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but I was lucky to land an Adaptive/Disrupt roll and it changed my mind pretty quick. But I gotta see if I have a Demo/Wellspring roll as well, may even be a lot of fun for Solar 3.0 as you said. Def in my top 5 for sure!

Submission and forbearance are my top 2. Crafted both, submission with perpetual/swash, forbearance with AA/CR. both fully spec’s into reload speed. Soul drinker is an S+++ tier origin perk, and I want to maximize it. Both are over level 30 at this point, it’s so good

Just came to add in quickly that i'm heartbroken you didn't mentioned 'timed payload' on Cantata... it's so good. This weapon has legitimately been my "go to" since witch queen launched. With all the hive there's alot of Arc shields, so it's been putting in work for me in PvE. Really enjoying this weapon & glad to see it on your list.
