He have been that for a while now. Switched from TRX to Sabian since he felt most of his fans could'nt afford TRX's.

I'm no where near an expert at this, but, maybe you can even do this on paradiddles. Like R snare L snare R ride R snare, and vice versa. Maybe that would sound cool too.

Ideally, and he is at times at the slow speeds, but I think he's flaming the middle two notes and, and spacing it like a triplet. Just a little sloppy, I realize he's supposed to be playing 4 evenly spaced notes.
