While you'll mainly find Texas BBQ here on this channel, I need to go back to my roots in this one. As a child growing up in Memphis, I fondly remember when the family would go out to eat at our favorite BBQ restaurant, Gridley's Fine BBQ. We moved away from Memphis when I was 11 but memories of the food and experience at Gridley's stays with me. In this video I talk about the history of the restaurant and its founder Clyde Gridley, then try to recreate their famous rib plate of beans, coleslaw, and of course babybacks.
