American Idol Top 9 Perform: Crying, Standing Ovations

American Idol is a night of crying and standing ovations. Hi guys I'm Bridget Daly and you're back at ClevverMusic. The top 9 impressed big time last night, and almost everyone got a standing O from the judges. Colton Dixon kicked things off with Everything by Lifehouse, and from there things just got progressively better! Like with Phillip Phillips' rendition of Still Rainin Jessica Sanchez's stripped down version of Sweet Dreams and our fave of the night, Elise Testone
This was far and above the best performance night of the season so far, and it's definitely going to be tough to see any of the contestants go home tonight. Who was your fave of the evening? I'm pretty clear on who should win, Joshua, but after that it gets foggy. Jessica MAYBE in 2nd, but then you've got Colton and Phil fighting for 3rd or competing with Jessica mainly because they're great performers and Elise a hair behind - when she does hard rock, that is. The crap she delivered this time won't win her anything. If you can't rock the house on 80s night, time to go home.
