Surprised you got confused at the sharp left turn onto the Cielo Drive extension street where the murders occurred. I never even been to California but have seen so many videos, documentaries that I could identify that sharp left from Cielo to the other Cielo on site immediately.

Great your at the gate now what? Yep! You guessed it....turn around and leave, unless you want to stop at Oman house which is the 3rd house down from gate, that house is haunted by Sharon Tate and other 3 Abigail, Wychek, and Jay. NO BULLSHIT.
