The stadium is not the problem, it’s the owners

Not the stadium - the owner won't let them keep good players. If he keeps gutting the team the way he has in Las Vegas - same result

Calling it disgusting is a bit of an exaggeration. I've gone to games there for decades and even recently I've been going to games and I'm sitting at my seat looking at a beautiful baseball field. You act like people are walking through the Tenderloin in San Francisco

It is not the stadium!! I like going to Oakland Coliseum better than Oracle Park(SF Giants) Why? because at Giants games often no one is paying attention to game. No one goes to Oakland Coliseum unless they want tot watch baseball and the owners have ruined that.

as a true as fan it's really frustrating. How they traded Matt Olson, Sean Murphy, and Matt Chapman

What a bunch of babies some people are. The field is fine and well maintained. Mt. Davis sucks, but the game can be seen just fine. No one considered the stadium being a problem from its beginning until about 2000. The seats are fine. This commentary makes it sound like the surroundings are filthy and broken. How does the stadium prevent anyone from seeing the game? The reverse boycott is going to illustrate how ownership is the problem. If the A's kept their players for years, without trading them when contracts were about to come up, no one would care about a stadium, or at least they'd be fine with rebuilding on the same site.

This is what happens when MLB colludes with the ownership and tanks to get relocation. It’s the movie Major League in real time. Time after time Fisher has refused to keep good players instead opting to trade them before free agency, basically a base of moneyball. But this last tear down totally dismantled the roster. They are fielding a AA team while at the same time they raised ticket prices and refused to maintain the Coliseum. In 2019 this team won 97 games. Hypothetically they do end up moving this ownership is gonna be just as frugal even with the added revenue and at this point the minor league system is depleted, middle of the road at best. So yeah they may get a new stadium only to be a .500 team that gets beat up In the dessert instead of Oakland. Also the city and county share the blame 20 years and 2 teams leaving should have lit a fire under them, the minute the Raiders left town they should have had a plan in place, as usual politics dragged its feet and Oakland will lose 3 franchises in the span of 5 years.

When was the last time you watched a game in Oakland ?

The owner is the biggest issue. He trades away everyone and then raises prices.

They were originally planning on getting a new stadium in Jack London Square which is still in Oakland

It's got NOTHING to do with it being a football stadium. It has to do with the stadium being overdue for condemnation. Its pipes burst all the time, the place is disgusting like he said, and is infested with possums, cats, and rats.

It's an example of Americans not investing in maintenance in general. The highways, the delapidated bridges, the crumbling sidewalks, outdated electrical grids and overflowing dams.

Bro wearing the glasses is tripping, the fans are upset that the owner and management are getting rid of their talent selling them off or trading for prospects. Then when those prospects are worth anything they trade them too. You can’t even buy a player’s jersey because there’s no guarantee he’ll be on the team next year. Plus the Colosseum even though it is falling apart in my opinion is a better baseball fan experience then Oracle Park. Oracle Park while beautiful is made to keep you distracted by other things. I go to both Giants and A’s game and I’ll take a game at the Coliseum any day.

The seating and the field is great. It's the infrastructure behind the seats Where you get your food and your merchandise and the bad plumbing otherwise the parks nice just to see a game

For the June 13th reverse boycott a fan is making shirts to give away for free as you come in. They have sold twenty thousand tickets almost.
