A6000 is easily the best overall camera ever made for photography. Cheap, fast, packed with features. I bought mine in 2015 and can't imagine ever upgrading, it does all i need.

the Sony a6000 is and has been my only camera for the last 4yrs, I learned to shoot on it, I've learned to film on it, and even though it's not a "professional" like 3000 dollar camera it is a monster for the price and size! I film all my vlogs and even do client work with it! it is very versatile and definitely worth it even in late 2018. With some prime lenses and Sigma lenses, it is more than good enough, especially if you are just starting!

My a6300 just came in the mail yesterday. All I can say is that I love this camera and it's packed with amazing features. I'm coming from a D5000 that I used to shoot for 5 years. Huge ass upgrade. Btw that a6000 in white looks so good.

If you’re looking for a great general purpose kit lens+, it’s hard to beat the 18-135. The focal range covers like 95% of my needs, it’s light and only cost me like 425ish. It’s a slower lens but that’s the trade offs for size/weight/cost. With 2 kids, I ain’t got time to mess around with primes! Haha.

Still have two in my bag taking back seat to 6500 & A7R3, but for very good reason. One 6000 for timelapse & underwater and one for infrared. So compact no excuse to pack them along!

Wow wow wawee. Sexy unit. i bought my a6000 almost 5 years ago for cheaper than what it is selling today. It is black, but that white one looks amazing, like a Samsung. I like the silver accents. Coming from Canon 🤔 (7:36)? Do a review on the zoom, since it is new and not from eBay.

just noticed how you said it was a bummer that the sd card slot is in the same spot as the battery. however as far as i know, unlike with canon, you can actually open it and take the sd out without the camera shutting off right=
