I mean, in my high school economics class we did this cool experiment that had everyone “investing” money in a stock market. It used the real stock market but with fake money. We all started with around $10, 000. I predicted the rising and falling of stocks for gaming companies based on how popular I felt their new games that would be released were going to be (for Ubisoft I bought stocks right before For Honor came out and made a butt load after it’s release as Ubisoft stocks rose) and out of all 8 classes our teacher had, I had the second highest amount of money. Way more than I started with thats for sure. Technically you could predict the stock market if you stick to a certain “market” per say that you feel comfortable with.

Traders/investors don't need to predict a market or interests rates. Like he's saying, it's a fools errand. They predict human emotions about markets, a key difference, and much more reliable.
