High Water In Chania Harbour - Crete

Ordinarily the splendid harbour of Chania, Crete is filled with good times, nightlife, and bustling with people and activity during the day. Restauranteurs line the harbour pulling in hungry tourists - tired from a long day at the beach - and souvenir stands will sell anything from local music CDs to Olive Oil to tee shirts. Even in the offseason, there's plenty of food and drink options along the harbour, but the was a particularly rainy, stormy and windy day in Chania and our beloved harbour was about flooded. Take a look at the storm surge, the waves and watch as I almost get drenched while taking video, to the amusement of a few Japanese tourists.
