if you now wnat an answer (a year later ;s) if you download DvDsoft's youtube downloader you will be able to download them directly to mp4. Good luck :)

Q. And what settings you would use so I don't lose much quality? I guess in short, I would like to know what settings for each or why i would opt one for another and what preferable settings or parameters I would select to obtain and not lose the same quality for music i bought from Itunes that is around 9 to 10 MB or just less so I'm not losing any quality? It's mostly rock and R&B and some karaoke.

Q. What do you choose or the difference between mp3/mp3Pro (mp3 or mp3PRO) or even selecting mp3PRO by checkmarking it and selecting in kilobits the constant bitrate and when to use that and what to set it on if you do, or going with just the "Lame mp3"?

What do you recommend for constant bitrate? 192 kbit, 44100 Hz, stereo or 192 kbit, 32000 Hz stereo? And also what about for encoding quality? Fast, High, or Medium? I don't know what the difference is between those parameters and also variable bitrate? What is recommended? Highest quality? High quality? Or Medium quality?
