So, what makes up the 42 Berlin Core Curriculum? In this episode, we dive into the details of what budding and experienced software engineers will learn with us. Our gamified curriculum means that each individual's 42 Berlin journey will look a little different depending on where your interests lie.

Step 1: The Piscine. This is a one-month-long trial period where you get to discover if 42 Berlin is the school for you. Here, Pisciners will learn the fundamentals of C, BASH and GIT. The goal of the Piscine is to expose potential students to our unique learning environment. It is appropriate for beginner and advanced coders alike.

Step 2: The Core Curriculum. Once you officially begin your studies with us, you will focus on th fundamentals of software development so that you have basic knowledge in a large range of areas you may need for the future. This well-rounded selection features 7 levels to take you through the essence of programming. As you progress, you will unlock more and more projects ... just like a video game! Watch the video in full to find out just what these projects may entail and some alumni personal favourites. On top of these hard skills, soft skills are just as important in your learning journey. At 42 Berlin, you will learn how to collaborate and communicate efficiently and, ultimately, #Learn2Learn.

Step 3: Specialisation. The advanced curriculum will take your skills to the equivalent of masters level. You will leave as an expert in your chosen field. Topics here currently include AI, Cybersecurity, Graphics and Video Games, and more.

This is the exact video I was looking for since I finished the piscine(3 months ago).

Now I am ready to embrace all the challenges 💪❤

I just finished the Piscine at 42 Berlin a few weeks ago.
It delivered as promised, I managed to free up my schedule and commit to it fully and it has been one of the most gratifying experiences I have had. Now I'm really looking forward to the core curriculum! 🤓

Hi I have a question, can't I do the projects in different programming languages like Java or Python instead of C++ and C or not possible?

Wow, looks more comprehensive than most IT university programs. And I don't see any filling stuff, like humanitarian subjects in uni.
