Finally her critics know that she’s a true artist. Not just as a athlete. She may be known for her triple axels. But nothing comes further from the truth that she does artistry better than anyone else before and after her. She’s the first Japanese figure skater to show true artistry. She’s such a remarkable figure skater of all times.

I still remember Mao Asada’s debut in international competitions with her nutcracker routine, back then she was a jumping bean known for her triple axel, then I wasn’t able to keep watching fs so that idea of the jumping bean stayed in my memories, but now that you tube allowed to watch old competitions I am very happy to realize that finally Mao Asada explored all her potential, this is one of many beautiful-mature skating routines she performed during her competition years. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

마오 세헤라자데 의상... 아댄 메릴 데이비스랑 같이 투탑인것 같은데 왜케 악평이지;;??? 배, 팔 부분 디테일이랑 바지 실루엣도 이쁘고 컬러까지 잘어울리는데🥲 스텝시퀀스 할때 랑베르쎄 개우아하다 진심

초반에 매끄럽고 예쁘게 잘하는데 후반에 조금 힘들어 하는게 느껴짐.. 연아퀸 성장에 큰 역할을 했던 아사다..2등도 2등 나름 우아하고 아름답게 할 수 있는데 너무 언론과 국민 의식해서 부담스런 기술 익히느라..본인 색깔 잃어버려 안타까웠음...근데 이번 영상 너무 아름답당 ㅎㅎ

I miss this generation of figure skating. Now it’s just inflated scores, poor artistry, and basically a jumping competition. We need to bring back these beautiful step sequences and technique.
