SL03 looks amazing, actually, Shenlan is Changan's own brand, and AVATAR is the brand of Changan, Huawei, and CATL. Changan has a factory in Malaysia that can make RHD cars, hope they can bring SL03 to the RHD market in the future.

It looks cool, like so many other cars you've shown us. However, I gave up waiting for an affordable "new" EV and just bought a used Tesla Model S. I absolutely love it!

The good news is that the car received 10000 orders within four hours after the price was released, but 70% of the orders were Erev. It is obvious that even the battery of Erev can provide 200km endurance, which is enough for ordinary people to work. And you can get it for 25K.
The sl03 series is equipped with standard rear wheel drive, which is benchmarked to BYD seal. I think this is part of the reason why it attracts popularity

This car is if no concern to Tesla, but a horrible nightmare for bmw, vw, Toyota.
10 year warranty? Marvellous! And that range, the big names behind it.

Changan have a good design in all the line up, like Tesla and Nio, the sedans in particular, BYD only in the sedans.

I could be wrong, but I believe there are heavy tariffs for Chinese vehicles in the US. I don't know if the Chinese vehicles will make it here with the current tariffs and the new proposed tax credit specifically excluding them.

The Chinese, at least until things go bust, are extremely brand conscious. Why Tesla sells. But that will change I believe.

I would consider buying one - but I am concerned about the battery…it isn’t LFP
Is it safe, can it be recharged to 100% and will it last???

It looks great, the price is right, and that guarantee is tempting. But I wouldn't consider buying it. We considered buying a Model S, but soon found that it's too big for driving around, and more importantly, parking in, our city. We bought a smaller EV which suits our needs pretty much perfectly, instead..

Rival may not be the best description but it definitely offfers a similarly sized and shaped package with a different set of features which many potential buyers may find more desirable.
