How to set activity alerts on your Garmin Forerunner 230 / 235. These activity alerts can be configured for all run, bike, and other activities. Setting up activity alerts for Pace, Time, Speed, Heart Rate, Distance, Calories, and Custom.

How To Setup Speed, Pace, Distance or Heart Rate Alerts:
1. Select the run button to go to the activity screen
2. From the activity screen press the down button to open the activity menu
3. In the activity menu select Activity settings
4. In Activity settings select Alerts
5. Now you can scroll through your active Alerts or create a new Activity Alert

Hey does the Garmin Forerunner 245 also have the High Alert/Low Alert for speed ...Garmin 235 are hardly available these days

so if i set an alert for 5km and run a half marathon my garmin will notify me every 5km i run during the half marathon?

Hello, on a half marathon, can i set up pace reminders (on my 235 or fenix 3) like: miles 1 - 3 = 8:50, then miles 4 - 7 8:30, then miles 8 - 10 = 8:15, and finally miles 11 - 13 = 8:40, respectively? thank you.

Great.... I was wondering if you could add HR Alerts to the FR235 (like the old ones I had on my Garmin Forerunner 15)
Found it useful not to have to keep checking watch/pace when I'm running but just get a nudge if I'm running too slow on a particulate lap (thanks for this)!

nice that it has this feature, but sheesh miles per hour for a runner? We measure our pace in minutes/mile.

I was trying to find how I can get an alert when I complete every km, say like 1km, then 2kms then 3kms and so on. Instead it just tells me 1km every time. IS that possible to set up? Likewise for time
