I Let Surprise Trade Decide The Pokemon For My Pokemon Violet Nuzlocke.

In this video I decided to let surprise trade decide my team for my hardcore nuzlocke of Pokemon Violet. This was a hardcore challenge run of Pokemon violet plus a nuzlocke and introducing the randomness of surprise trade made this challenge even more difficult.

The Reason why your Sucker Punch fail was cause Banette wasn’t targetting at your Loknix. Instead the Banette was focusing their attack on ur charizard.
Sucker Punch only work if you are the one whose getting targetted at.

25:16 Sucker punch only works if the pokemon you target is attacking your same pokemon back. While Lokix was targeting Banette, Banette was targeting Charizard.

Gallade absolutely carried this game for me, to the point where the post game gym repeats were all challenged with ONLY gallade (Except for Rhyme where the Gallade had a Corviknight with it to provide Tailwind and bulk to absorb hits towards the team)

the reason why sucker punch didn't connect in the ghost gym was because nothing was trying to attack lokix. Everything on the field was attacking charizard, making the game think nothing was attacking lokix therefore sucker punch didn't connect

So sucker punch only counts as a attacking move after it does damage**

Here's the order of events
Faster user attacks, but the opponent hasn't done damage so it doesn't count as attacking**
Slower user attacks, the opponent has dealt damage so sucker punch lands
