“Unfortunate scissor related mixups” - been there, done that, got the prize 😂

I just found you Sparrow. Your work is amazing. Thank you for the tips!!!

the second option works perfect for me especially since i make jewelery so i use really thin thread. you made this much easier for me thankyou!

You were lucky to have family to pass this to you. I had to learn from an old crochet book and it was difficult

The way I audibly gasped at the double back method for ending chains! I literally said "Oh my God, Sparrow!!" Out loud in my living room 😂
I've been trying to use magic loops but none of the wire or fishing line I have on hand is quite thin enough to make a magic loop that doesn't leave a ton of bulk in the chain. This is a game changer!

That first tip just absolutely blew my mind. I can't wait to try it, pulling the tail through each half-stitch takes so long.

I love learning new techniques for common issues! I've mostly used the magic loops to hide my ends, but I look forward to trying out some of these methods. Sewing in the ends is very difficult for me because I struggle with seeing the stitches even with my glasses and a magnifying glass. 😁

Thanks so much for sharing!

You're amazing. I'm jealous 😂but trying not to focus on that. I just finished some curtain sheers using a thread only slightly bigger than sewing thread and I'm dreading the tails! I've even started on another project while I'm working up the courage. You're video really helps a lot! Thank you so much! ❤

❤you are an inspiration. Could you show us how to add thread when the shuttle runs out. Also how do you determine how much thread to wind on your shuttle? Thank you.

I finally got my memory back and can tat once again. Thank you! Wow, that was the best! Do you have any patterns or links for a tatted lace edging, to go on top of the seam where a ruffle is attached to the umbrella? I am thinking maybe use cording but that might be too big. I am accessorizing my steam punk costume.

This is one of the reasons I never seemed to finish a project. I appreciate multiple options. Some day I would like to make baby booties but that is going to take me a while. I have been tatting since in my teens however I took a long break and want to get my fingers used to tatting again.

Very nice but I'm a little slow so a little slower movements for me would be of help. Please don't take offense, i will catch on. Thank you so much for your time. Very much appreciated

I am still struggling to get comfortable holding the thread and shuttle and doing the flip. I will keep practicing but may have to switch to the tatting needle.

I tried the Sewing Ends the Advanced Method and my work started getting gaps in it. Is that because I’m tatting too tightly?
