The saving tip is SO important, at some point when you start saving, your gambling addiction lowkey goes away because its so satisfying to see how many polychrome you have (in my experience at least)

Started playing 6 days in on Janes banner, grinded through the story, side quest, literally anything to get the poly's. Lost my 50/50 at 80 pulls, kept going and got her at 154 pulls total. Pulled for Caesar and got her in my first 10 roll. Saved the rest for Burnice. Lost 50/50 at 32 rolls to Nekomata (I didn't have Nekomata yet so, cool), got Burnice 12 rolls later. Decided after a while, F it, I'll go for the weapon... Got that mofo at 16 rolls. I don't know what it woulda been like if I started when the game launched, but I still feel lucky as shit.

Solid advice. Sadly, YouTube didn't exist when I was first introduced to online gacha games circa 2002 and there was not any literature available on GameFAQs. I'd like to say "I have seen it all" at this point but that simply cannot be true. However, after a 3 year hiatus from gacha gaming and my hormones calmed down I can see clearly now. It is easy to forget about the gameplay aspect but it is what makes the game enjoyable and allows us to continue playing after a day or two of grinding out the main story. I haven't played this title yet but this was a great video to get me into the right mindset while it downloads. Thanks for the hard work!

Totally true, as a f2p myself is really difficult to pull for signatures, I don't recommend it for any agent in the game, the free ones are good enough in most cases.
That bean said, it is next to impossible to follow my own advice, I have the signatures of the 3 limited agents I have pulled: Zhu Yuan, Jane Doe and Burnice 😅

Ellen is downright my favorite character so I pulled her and her W, pulled Zhu but skipped her W and skipped Qingyi. Really wanted Qingyi but it wasn't absolutely necessary for my account so I just ate the loss. Then pulled on Jane and her W, then got SUPER lucky with Caesar and Burnice. I'm currently skipping Yanagi for Lighter since I want to double down on him and might skip Miyabi depending on if she's a anomaly or not.

6:35 I think this is me lol. As a f2p, I got M2 Jane with her Signature W - Engine. And yesterday I got M1 Yanagi with her Signature W - Engine also. This really made my life easier

This is just a good video in general on how to look at these sorts of games, not just ZZZ. I was taking the exact opposite approach and as soon as you talked about waiting and saving everything clicked.

The ONLY 5 star character (besides the Traveller) I have in Genshin is Tighnari. Got it when they gave for free any one 5 star character. I'm okay with that. Hopefully I will manage to survive ZZZ.

I think all this is fantastic advice.

As someone coming from HSR, I can tell you that the constant power creep and FOMO makes it hard to not pull on the new hotness. At least with Genshin and ZZZ, you can absolutely make your 4* casts work with little to no limited banner 5* characters.

That said, Im not the best to give advice. Came in for Miyabi, and after losing the 50/50, I kept going until I hit like 100 pulls. Then I literally got her W-engine in a single pull xD

Well, I am a good saver and so picky about characters I looking for. Mainly character value and the design.
But if design is amazing but the character does skills does not feel unique or useful to my account surely I will skip.
