Ive decided that I will take a whole lot less money if I can live in a place that gives me a sense of continuity and what I consider meaningful work. I think I have an understanding of why people return to what society says is meager pickings . It will give you meaning in your life that material possessions never will.

A lot of people don't know what happened to the Atlantic salmon. A very large portion of the population is oblivious to the fact that it was the Western Europeans that depleted the Atlantic Salmon stocks after their winter feeding grounds were discovered off Labrador and Greenland. The Danes were the biggest offenders. Why there was never any full scale publications on this is very puzzling. Organizations like Green Peace, PETA, et al never once voiced concern about any of this. Our cod stocks met with much the same fate.
