Nice to see all these old buildings and sites of my hometown. Could add to a video like this by mentioning areas of more recent past cultural places of connection - Ancaster High school, the public pool and nearby parks, the Ancaster Stockyards, Auction Barn, even the small toy store location on Wilson St. (could include a few old photos as well as show the boundaries, naming the main streets of these). Surprised to find it had black settlers in 1827. If there were more apartments/townhouses - even low-rise ones close to the town core.. would add to the cultural mix of people, one notices a distinct lack of pedestrians on the main streets.

You missed 442 Wilson east at the Village gate, built in 1820, but thank god you got Costco though, the killer of the commercial reigon you call the village back in 1985
