for my fellow vegetarians: try mushroom buns, sesame noodles and kao fu. vegetarian dumplings and mushroom&veg fried rice are top tier too 👌 (and ofc leave some space for chocolate xiao long bao for the dessert!!)

Dtf is my personal fave, I’ve been ordering their food pretty much every week for the past 15 years and I’ve eaten in at least one dtf branch in every country that has it except I think China and Thailand 😅 one day I’ll try them all and complete my personal ranking list

I love wood ear mushrooms. The texture reminds me of seaweed or kelp salad. I have never tried to make it at home. Could you cook it for us?

My mom and I share the chicken fried rice, pork soup dumplings and chicken dumplings. For dessert I get two of the red bean buns and black sesame buns.

You should order the sweet and spicy shrimp wontons! That's the BEST! Better than their xiao long baos (which honestly are just okay; better options elsewhere).

The braised beef noodle soup is good too.

DTF is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I like to get the spicy pork XLB and I really like the cucumber salad, rice cake noodles, and pork ribs. I also love the chocolate bun they have for dessert.
