The Paw Paw fruit, besides it's repelling powers, doesn't just push out pain, it makes intangible things tangible as we have seen with memories too. While pain can be removed from someone, something more personal like memories only get copied. So maybe with these powers someone could copy a persons fears and send it into the body of an enemy or copy the courage of a person and distribute it to allies. I think there are a lot of possibilities for this fruit. But removing the pain of one person and giving it to an enemy is probably the most cruel way to use this power

Boa’s devil fruit is only as powerful as it is bc shes pretty. And it only works on others who find her attractive.
Dont ya remember it didnt work on Luffy. Know why? Bc Luffy isnt interested in sex.
So if BlackBeard took it, it’d basically be useless.
Pretty much if anyone who isnt extremely beautiful eats it, it wouldnt do anything.
So its a devil fruit thats only powerful if your someone who other people find you extremely attractive.

Small correction: the Mero Mero no mi is activated through intense emotions, Hancock only uses her beauty to turn people to stone. Blackbeard wants to use people’s hatred towards him against his adversaries

Im really under the impression that Kuma's devil fruit is some sort of mythical fruit too, based off of some mythological animal with paws and repelling powers.

Idk what that would be, but his Fruit has always been peculiar to me because its not the "repel repel" fruit or something, its the "paw paw, " and there isnt any widely accepted coorelation between paws and repelling (that i know of, at least)

I get devil fruit powers can get weird and everyone might not want to risk it… but giving your slaves a random super power seems like a terrible idea for the celestial dragons and a godsend for the slaves.

Imagine, in another timeline, the Hancocks weren’t force fed the fruits. And someone else took their places, or became worse threats, while the sisters could’ve ended up dead or still enslaved. Makes me wonder, what would One Piece be like, without Devil Fruits? It’d be a neat spin off. A “what if”.

As someone already mentioned, they were slaves and if they hadn't been freed they would probably been apart of the world government. Also not sure the Gorosei themselves were involved with use of devil fruits on slaves, pretty sure they would had used them for the fruits for their own schemes if they knew about them.
