Judith Durham, Lead Singer Of The Seekers, Dies Aged 79

Tributes are flowing for Judith Durham, who has died at the age of 79. The Melbourne-born singer was the voice of The Seekers and a generation. Athol Guy was one of Judith’s bandmates in The Seekers, and shares his memories.

Ah, they just don't make them like Judith Durham any more! Humble, articulate, decent, thankful, supremely gifted. I remember when The Seekers disbanded, and my late mother was so sad at that. She really loved that Band and all of their wonderful music. Ms Durham's legacy is immortal, and is one of the all time great female singers in my book!
