Aldis is a smart guy. His value would of been crushed in AEW. He's in suits looking like a real champion. Imagine him having to sell to 🍊 who can't even run the ropes correctly getting pushed for the TNT title feud with Cody.

Aldis wouldn't fit in with AEW anyway, they only sign people to do comedy sketches. He's more of a serious character.

Aldis would NEVER last long in AEW. He's known for speaking his mind, there's no way at all that he would be ok with the absolute CRAP that AEW gives us weekly.

He would speak up, scare Tony Khan and likely end up fired or sent home until his contract ran out.

Aldis comes across as being really classy and it's respectable that he's able to stand up for himself and his character.
I get the feeling that if WWE were to take him on he'd be on a far higher level to the talent they have in NXT and he'd get a Kross style push there.

I remember Aldis from TNA and NWA and it's almost like he's been champ MORE than he hasn't. He is treated well, making money, so the safe bet is to keep what you have.
