This performance was done a year after his "The Singer" competition I believe. He was invited back as a guest performer. There is a video of Jesse J reacting to him back stage as he is singing this song.

the whole world should listen to Dimash, he is not an international treasure, he is a world in a lifetime and I am so honored I found him in my lifetime.
He has brought me from the deep depression of caring 5 yrs for my wife before shr died 2 yrs ago, to feeling good again.

I love the applause protocol they have here, they know when they can applaud because they're aware of song structure, and they do it just to support the singers, like "you're doing great!" It's just awesome.

This was a guest performance on "I am Singer", the year after he competed on said show. Jessie J was competing that year and there is a video of her getting ready to perform next and watching Dimash sing this song. She is amazed and has great comments about the performance. Dimash was quoted soon after competing the previous year that he wanted to spread more of the Kazakh culture to the rest of the World. That is when he started emphasizing "Eastern" touches to a lot of his performances and concerts.

Dimash is a guest singer here on The Singer in 2018, it’s the year after he competed in the competition which was 2017. The backing singers were there, they never have a backing track on The Singer, it’s all live

This was his 1 guest appearance on Singer 2018. He also had a guest appearance in Singer 2019 doing the Queen medley with Super Vocal Boys. You can see Dimash playing on Singer 2017 Episode 6 playing piano to start. Episode 7 Daididau he plays the Dombra. Episode 13 duet with Laure tribute to MJ he plays a little on drums and the music video for Screaming he plays piano on screen and drums in the backup track. And in A Question Of Honour he plays Grand piano a little at the start but it doesn't show his face, only clothes & fingers. 🎶👱‍♀️👗👠👠💓
