Wow that chat was salty as hell! Not mad, it's just sad seeing so many people so closed minded that another platform might also be fun and have a history it's fans might want to celebrate. Oh well! Thanks for giving it a proper and objective chance MBG

It really hurts me seeing how people with the same hobby fight each other just because one of the companies behind it have something to celebrate
Right now both Gaming-Companies (Xbox and Playstation) are doing amazing and they have quite different strategies which in the end helps everybody.

Idk why so many people in chat expected a bunch of new game announcements. Especially this close to the Game Awards. Microsoft literally said a week before the event that there wouldn't be any new game reveals. This was exactly what they advertised it as, a celebration of the 20th anniversary of Xbox.

Max Payne 1-3 the Fear series and timespliters got me! I love those three franchises and DOA 3-4 this was a good showing because the backcompat games.

We saw the Rock, we got 76 new Backwards Compatibility games including Otogi, Manhunt, Nier, FEAR, Max Payne 1-3 and TimeSplitters. We got a nice orchestral piece, some giveaways and HI Multiplayer opened up. Yes...it's deemed a Beta for marketing purposes; there is no need to make a big deal of it but it is the multiplayer.

And we got a lot of people in the chat once again making fools of themselves and embarrassing the PS community with their ad nauseum attempt to keep the console war alive. The last SoP stank but that is no reason for some of the commentary. This was a good show but it was never going to be a show about games. It was to celebrate the anniversary and in that, it worked.

PS has good games....XBox has good games and it is time to embrace that. Let's drop the "XBox has no games" comments for one...MSFS, P2, FH5, HI, The Gunk and more should disprove that. Lets all just be happy we get good games on both consoles.

I don't understand why people stay for things they "hate". If people hate Xbox so much, why did they stay? Are they that pathetic that they watched the whole thing, just to say something bad? If Xbox is not your thing, cool. If Playstation is not your thing, cool. You like what you like, but if you are in a space to purposely throw shade, you're a sorry excuses of a human being, if you ask me. Nothing better to do than be toxic.

It is really funny rather than leave the live stream so many choose to just sit and complain about being bored but reading the live chat is incredibly entertaining to see people with so much hatred over the competition to their favorite console basically crying that Xbox is celebrating 20 years.

If next AAA fallout game is exclusive to Xbox, I wouldn't be mad. I love Fallout franchise so much, that I'd go out and buy a series S just to play it.

This is when the battle of first party begins. Games are now consistently releasing on both platforms. Next up is Horizon vs Redfall. Then it’s God of war vs Starfield. Forza vs GT. Some smaller third party exclusives sprinkled in the mix like scorn. Avowed will go head to head with Final fantasy(not first party I know). As someone who plays only Xbox and PlayStation platforms im excited. My only complaint this generation so far is PlayStation needs to get rid of paid online. I haven’t paid for Xbox live or gamepass for that matter in a year and three months. What really really gets me excited is Xbox releasing all new ips after halo.

Seeing as the evil within 3, doom and wolfenstein are exclusive I guess. Never had a reason to buy an Xbox but if they are exclusive I will buy an x
