This is great information. I learned awhile ago you need to use vsync in conjunction with your Gsync monitor.

honestly it took me years to actually understand that you need vsync for gsync but for some games like Apex and COD I keep vsync off and just deal with the minor tearing for less latency. thanks for this

I was having awful stuttering in GW2 at 1440p 144 fps when my rtx 3060 was being utilized by like 40 percent. I was scraching my head over it for ages. I ended up turning on G-sync, V-sync, 4fps under so 140fps max but i use vsync -FAST and low latency mode - Ultra. now GW2 runs so smooth it's night and day.

Thanks man, first time year ago I was scared of using gsync because i poorly configured that. Now you helped alot. I prefer low latency mode on on (MSI G272)

Wow this helped my GPU temps by about 5-6c. I wasn't expecting that. I always had g-sync enabled but I never enabled low latency mode and v-sync through the control panel. Also helped with tearing in games where it was an issue. Right on!

I heard the same thing about vsync needing to be enabled, but the ultra mode gets rid of alot of latency if you have a gsync monitor like he explained
