Tom Hanks playing a role in a film as always doing a good job, it's not a mistake his job is acting.
I like the way he walks it looks very realistic, as does the way he moves his head when talking, or the way he points at things off camera, I first noticed him doing that in earlier films he made, in Apollo 13 he does a lot of pointing and moves his head more than 35 times, limited walking but what he did was first class.

What bugs me is in the movie they got the most famous quote wrong. Hanks says "we're gonna end up in the Hudson" but Captain Sully actually said "We're Gonna Be In The Hudson" How could they get that wrong.

I love Sully but today I learned something that made me regret having watched this movie. It's a pity Clint Eastwood was involved in this project. As of today I stopped having any respect for him after finding out what that pos did to Sacheen Littlefeather back in 1973 when he straight down mocked her during her speech. I had no idea of what had happened, if I had known, i would have never watched any of his movies and would have made my best to spread this information to as many people as I could throughout my life. Now I know better.

This is not an attempt to diminish what Sully and his team did on January 15th 2009, but what Capt. Rasmussen and his crew did on December 27th. 1991 was even more impressive as far as I'm concerned. He crach landed an MD81 (Dana Viking) on a field outside Stockholm after plowing trough some densed forest. The plane broke in tree pieces, but everybody survived the crach. Both engine surged after a FOD incident, and was too damaged to restart in mid air. Capt. Rasmussen never flew again.

Shows you how hollywood can get people to watch anything. I respect sully for what he did and the lives he saved. But do people realize theyre watching a 90 min movie about a 6 min flight?
