Wow. Just wow. Our own Glenda Jackson a mighty force of intellect and acting talent. Not for her was the unnecessary glitz and glamour,
she didn’t need it. What a wonderful actress and glorious lady. I met her in the 80’s at William Franklyn’s house in Putney. Absolutely a genuine forthright lady.

Just bought a ticket to the next-to-last performance of TTW on June 24. It co$t a fortune, but probably the last chance I'll ever have to see her onstage. Now I'll have seen both her and Vanessa Redgrave (in Driving Miss Daisy in 2010) and on the same stage (John Golden Theater in NYC).
