The Edifier R1280DB is honestly one of the best upgrades that I did on my desk setup, it has a good balance between performance and aesthetics with its nice wooden design element and convenient treble, boost and volume knobs with multiple input and output interface.

I have the non-BT version of this several years ago. Best bang for the buck speakers siya at about 2k a piece, sa Softbox ko din nakuha. Not sure if that still applies considering that it costs twice as much just because they added the bluetooth function.
