As a Swede, I'm slightly offended 😅
Not too far off the true story either. I believe the food is there so that even if you don't buy any furniture you can still have a good experience.
The showroom was put in place because the quality of furniture from catalogs was going down in Sweden. Lastly Ingvars wife baked cinnamon rolls for the grand opening.

So my brother worked at IKEA for a number if years and all I can say is how much both of us laughed at this. And the funny thing is is that while this is obviously not what happened. im sure there are so companies out there that went through a ridiculous process just like this and actually worked.
