As an American it’s awkward watching this because this is nothing compared to what some of our politicians do and still keep their jobs and popularity.

i havent seen a politician admit his mistake or lies for long time.

I love the way it was put at the end. The conservative party voted him out not because of his lack of ethical behavior but because he could no longer win elections.

As an American I’m envious that the people could bring down a man like this. While for us in America, we can’t do the same for politicians that have done much worse, yet still manage to get away with it.

I feel like this video was just waiting for a status change from private to public.

People of England take trust very serious. Here in America we love it when politicians lie to us, we actually defend them when they do.

The parallels between Johnson's and Trump's tenure are startling. Whereas in America, dishonor is a badge to be proudly worn if not flaunted. In Britain, the price is your career.

That was fast... Does WSJ have these video pre-made if an event happens?

He Has no moral/ ethical/ legal backbone, BUT we need to reflect of us as a nation electing such an individual AND what it means for this nation as a global contender to elect such a human being and support his livelihood on our taxes.

One word: Integrity. Even Bojo the Clown's signature success Brexit was purely a way for him to gain power. Before he backed Brexit, he famously wrote two articles advocating both Leave or Remain and rapidly made a decision which way would give him personal advancement. He also said that a "Hard Brexit" was a million-to-one-against chance - then ended up enacting a horribly damaging diamond hard Brexit. He will go down in history as a disgraceful liar with no credibility.

Brits will pay for years afterwards for what Boris Johnson has done. At the very least, I hope that they learn that people who are financially, socially distressed are easy victims for Johnson's politics.

One thing wrong here, is he didn't admit that he'd been at a party for months and avoid it. But eventually U turned when he realised it wasn't going to go away.

Boris rose to the heights of ultimate power the problem was it all went to his head .Get brexit done is all he will be remembered . His deceitful bumbling was just his natural character and we all fell for that hook line and sinker that cheeky grin is no more. please vote someone in who doesn't think he was born to do this job and want to grasp the challenge head on ?

In India we don't even think about these "petty" mistakes made by our politicians. It's looting public money is what we think is an issue for us.

the video didnt elaborate on the final blow imo. boris considered placing an mp in a high government role, was told about the mp’s accusations of sexual assault beforehand but followed through with the appointing. then when he got backlash he fired him, pretended that he didnt know even though people had told him.
