JULY 29, 2024: The Tropics are heating up, with two possible systems approaching the Caribbean islands and Southeast U.S. this week with very little wind shear or dry air.

In today's "Chaos to Clarity" Bernie Rayno explains where the systems will track and which has the best chance to affect the Bahamas and Florida. But first, Bernie talks specifics about damage on each of the islands. #hurricane #forecast #tropical #debby #hurricanedebby #atlantic

Areas of High Pressure rotate clock-wise. Areas of Low Pressure -- hurricanes prosper in Low Pressure areas and rotate counter-clock-wise. Mountains tend to break-up high AND low pressure fronts or pockets.

Nice calm approach. I appreciate that. Some of your colleagues get way too animated way too early.

It's been raining all summer long across NW Florida.

What's that you say? The tropics are heating up at the end of July? Gosh, that hasn't happened since, well last year. But at least it won't happen again until, well next year.

We need rain in Texas but no flooding from a hurricane. I hope it doesn't take the same path as Beryl. Those people are still recovering.
