it's crazy to think about it, it will be like the tides for our ancestors. The same process over and over again just enlarging constantly our horizon. Mind blowing.

1. Put 2 Starship on LEO (Crew and Pusher) and refill them (many launch needed).
2. Put the Crew on top of the Pusher.
3. Send astronauts to the Crew Starship with a Falcon 9 and a Crew Dragon.
4. Fire the Pusher and push the Crew toward Mars using ~70% of the fuel. Separation. Use the remaining fuel to return the Pusher to LEO.
5. Fire the Crew Starship and use 50% of its fuel to accelerate.
6. Use the remaining fuel to decelerate and land on Mars.
7. Super fast trip to Mars!

Note: Do this only for Crew Starships. Use the slow method for cargo.

So he’s saying there is only 6 months out of every 2 years that Earth aligned in orbit with a clear path to Mars. The other year and and 6 months the Sun situated between Earth and Mars which makes it impossible to go. If I understand this correctly, after landing on Mars after taking the 6 month journey, wouldn’t you have to chill on Mars for 1 year and 6 months before you could make the journey back to Earth again? Wouldn’t you have to wait until the Sun isn’t between Mars and Earth again to make the journey back? Or is my brain too stupid?
