After listening to a number of videos, I realized that Jacob is essentially a painter presenting us with musical landscapes of gorgeous color that touches us so deeply. I think kudos are due to the piano technician who tuned, voiced and regulated that beautiful instrument - and to the recording engineers who placed the microphones and set the piano/vocal balance. What a magnificent recorded sound!
