Euphoria Season 3: Do We Need It At This Point?

I just hate how S2 left us with NOTHING to look forward to. The storylines lead us to an ending that feels incomplete.

“None of the cast have ever spoken negatively about Sam [Levinson]… at least publicly” because they know bashing a director is an easy way to get blacklisted and never work again. Sydney was already heavily sexualized in the show that aired I don’t even want to think about the original plan. Levinson needs to stay far away from young actors.

I feel like the distance between seasons is another factor. But tbf, there was external factors. Covid happened between S1 & S2, and the strike occurred between S2 & S3

One of the very first criticisms of euphoria season 1 when it aired was its nudity and sexualization( I stopped watching bc of it )so there were always doubts there. Sam Levison just kept proving and escalating those claims

Everyone sh*ts on The Idol but honestly Euphoria Season 2 was just as awful. Extremely poor writing from all aspects. That being said, the fact that people are STILL talking about the show shows its impact and you know when Season 3 does eventually happen everyone will tune in, even the people claiming it’s the worst thing ever.

Based on how underwhelming and disappointing season 2 was and how The Idol crashed and burnned, my expectations are on the ground. I'll tune in, but I'm ready for disappointment.
