Raywood Ash in Autumn color - Fraxinus oxycarpa

Raywood is a fine source of fall color and is also drought resistant. Good street tree that, with age, provides considerable shade. Plant as a single specimen, in a grove for more widespread shade or for seasonal shading on hotter south and west exposures.

Just bought a Raywook Ash . so excited . I bought it for its rich green color in summer. I saw one in my neighborhood and found in love with it. took a small branch to my nursery and found one. I did not know it turns purple during fall so now more excited. Some other nursuries told me they are root invasive but did a research and it is not true. these are good street trees.

Raywood ash or Redwood ash ? Is there both kind ? Or did i misunderstood someone telling me about the tree?
