In this tutorial, I explain how to generate the signed APK of React Native Android App.

Steps to generate Signed APK
1- Generate Keystore
2- Place keystore under your project / android / app
5- Run this code in the command line )cd android && gradlew assembleRelease)

If you have this error "Keystore file not found for signing config 'release'." Drag and drop de keystore file over app folder and refresh.

problem with all these tutorials is that your build.gradle fiel already has the signingConfigs but with debug. Do you create antoher signingConfigs with the release they ask you to copy or is having two signingConfigs ok? Same with the buildTypes. YOu already have one in your file.
