Spectral bat (Vampyrum spectrum) leaving roost in Nicaragua

After 6 years of finding the first Nicaraguan Spectral Bat roost. We revisited and found the site to still be occupied by three individuals. Likely parents and an old pup. In the video we suspect the younger animal is individual "B" which first comes out of the roost and returns just to later hesitate for a while before taking off after the two parents leave.

Observations are from a roost 12m above ground in the lowland dry forest of Nicaragua in the Rivas department. Check time in brackets for exit times. Also check our paper on the diet of this very same animals here:
