I have had my long hate love relationship with the dm 810, but with the last software up grade I would now classify this thing as a high end device. Still not a matrix ultra but dam good. Dean is spot on with the mute request.

I bet there equipment will be better than some people are giving them credit for. I just replaced my higher wattage Alpine amp with an Audio Control and the difference is night and day.

Only sets of speakers I've heard in orchastra mode was the silk dome s500's and qsd 213 biamped with the qaa's

The dsp is also highly limited. I wish each channel was totally independent and an option between BT AND LR crossover

Yea, am I the only one that feels wholly unimpressed and quite disappointed in Audiocontrol’s first effort at releasing subwoofers? When I think of AudioControl, I think if a premium, quality, conservatively rated product. Their amplifiers are excellent. I run a 5 channel Pantages G1 and Savoy G3 7 channel in my home setup and an LC 1.800 in my truck. But with no testing yet of course, Judging just on specs, these AC Spike subs seems quite underwhelming. I mean, they come with stamped baskets….why? Are these supposed to be for SPL or SQ? Because they way they are described on the website makes them sound like they’re supposed to be for SPL, but the sealed 12” box i’s tuned to like 51 hz. That doesn’t get low, at all. Wtf?

You’ll get a better BL with the single coil, unless you wire your dual in series, which will basically be the same thing.

Hey how’s it going I have a 2014 charger with factory beats audio system I bought the crutchfield harness to bypass the amp and replaced my 6x9 with kicker ks ran it to a lc7i then to a 4 channel amp the problem I am having is if I turn the volume up all the way playing or not playing music I’m getting a loud hiss coming out of the speakers once I turn the volume all the way down to 0 I’m still getting a really low static I’ve tried regrounding re wiring changing the amplifier went through multiple ground loop isolators and even connecting the harness input directly to the amp but nothing works can you help me?

Most of us who run high end SQ builds will never run AC...their DSP OS is trash 🗑 and couldnt match Helix ...the new Subwoofer, i assume is geared towards soccer dads who dont know any better...i am sure if dean wasnt sponsored by AC, he would have something to say
