Howdy from Central Texas. It’s been raining off and on for a couple of days so hopefully I will have a full rain barrel. Glad you made it back safe

Reed I have been a follower of you ever since you were on the Discovery Channel. I respect your knowledge on weather systems and your abilities of a storm chaser. Like you, I have been really interested in weather systems especially severe super cells. I have lived in North Alabama all my life and I have had my share fare share of tornadic systems. On April 3rd 1974 North Alabama was hit by several large long track tornadoes. In November 1989 I lost a friend to the tornado that hit airport road in southwest Huntsville. I missed that one by about 45 seconds. As I was driving home from work I went over the airport road overpass and saw cars being flipped in my rear view mirror as I was coming off the overpass. Then in April of 2011 one of my friends house got destroyed and while I was helping him get his family out another tornado hit just North of his location and got my house. Many people lost their lives with that storm system. I appreciate what you and your team does and your dedication to storm research. I really respect what you do as a Meteorologist and storm chaser. With that said, you have nerves of steal. Thanks for all that you do and sharing your knowledge with us viewers. Take care and please be safe.

Watching your fine work here and many of your chases over the years has helped me tremendously. As a young kid in 1959 or 1960, I was rushed with my siblings, parents, and next door neighbors into our neighbors' storm/bomb shelter in Oklahoma City just before a tornado passed overhead. Fortunately, our neighborhood for the most part escaped any serious damage. But I came away with a deeply etched fear of tornadoes that has taken years to shake off. The neighbor did not help matters when he opened the hatch out of curiosity during the event to get a peek. Of course, the hatch was flung open by wind, and his uber comb over got sucked straight up out of the opening. Watching you and learning the science about that big monster that my much younger mind conjured up has helped a great deal. Thank you so very much. Keep on chasing and God bless you!

Good luck, Reed. Been a fan for years. Nobody dominates the storms like you, sir. You know, after researching it, you qualify for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Just sayin'. Be safe!

Where were you on Monday? Crawford County, Arkansas got hit by an EF 1. Lost several trees no video coverage.

Models look interesting finally for the OH/KY/IN tri-state area for once late Tuesday/Early Wednesday, assuming I'm reading the models correctly. Will be interesting to see how those evolve over the next 24 H.

In the end, I just need to make sure my car doesn't get pelted by hail... I'm literally just about to pay that off!
