Qadr, the divine decree, highlights Allah's control over everything, while Sabr, or patience, is a virtue urging steadfastness in the face of challenges. Muslims are encouraged to cultivate patience, trusting in Allah's wisdom and viewing challenges as tests of faith. This video delves into the connection between Qadr and Sabr, emphasizing how they shape the Islamic worldview, fostering resilience in adversity and gratitude in prosperity.

Note: regarding ‘free will’. Allah ‘created’ good and bad for a wisdom, but He does not create ‘evil’, such as poison and pain, but they have benefit in other ways. It is our free will to use them towards good or cause evil. The free will here is that we have a choice to use what Allah created good and bad in a way that is good or in a way that is evil. Therefore, it does not contradict the meaning of God creating good and bad and people having free will.

Often, humans choose sin due to stress as an escape. Stay patient and find solace in the deen. This is the way.

You must love Allah the most! More than anything else. More than your son. More than your parents, wife & brother & sister. Then when Allah take some of them you won't be effected too much by that so much so you go into depression because of that. Loving Allah & His messenger ﷺ is the Pinnacle of faith. You must have desire to sacrifice your nafs & your loved ones for their sake.

The first time in my 40+ years that I heard that angels have free will. SubhanAllah, the explanation of the absence of desire to exercise it makes sense though. TabrakAllah
