For those unnaturally colored flocked Barbie pets— I wonder if dry brushing/rubbing chalk pastels on their fur would work to change their color without creating a weird texture (like paint for example would)? You could try adding a layer of grey to the purple cat to try to neutralize it out and make it more realistic. I know chalk pastels can be used on fabric or fake fur to “dye” it quickly, so I thought I’d suggest it!
