ARFF Training - 737 700 over wing exit

Today we went to our local maintenance facility to take a look at a 737 700 torn apart for a 15 year check. We made a quick video of us opening the over wing exit.
Make sure you have your knee out to block the door, because its spring loaded and would knock your mask off if your not paying attention.

the fact you can just open it from the outside is just hilarious, imagine boarding through the overwing exit because the L1 door stopped working
