Thank you so much for your tips, sandwich the silk fabric with wrapping paper; I would have never thought of this way to do this. And hanging overnight is a very tip too. Thank you for sharing this online.

I’m making this dress right now with your pattern and I just want to say it’s awesome! I’ve never had a pattern match up so perfectly & so easy to assemble. I’m a beginner so I’m doing some things differently so I don’t stress myself out, but I’m already so so so happy with the outcome even if it doesn’t look as professional!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!

Wow. Just watched your whole process. This is so incredible and informative! I’m trying to learn how to drape and work with silk to make my wedding dress. Thank you for sharing!

This is so unbelievably beautiful! I love the pattern for the small cup size because that's us! I'm using this pattern as my future nightgown sets with satin. It's been getting hot and humid in the summers so shorts and tanks don't cut it for a comfortable sleep at night. Thank you so much for this tutorial and pattern it's saved me in every way!

Great tip about sandwiching. Fabric moves so much, but now I have that tip thanks

Do these same steps apply with satin? I know its not quite as temperamental as silk but wanted your opinion! Also, do you have to cut the front and back of the dress perpendicular to ensure they don't hang funny? I've noticed you don't seem to but I have read blogs that say its important and some of my projects end up just... not looking right 😭

Hi Tracy. Thank you for this detailed tutorial. I have a question, if I use satin fabric, should I leave the neckline (and the back) raw, and finish with lace using zigzag stitch like how you did to silk? Will the edges fray when washed?

Hi I just bought your pattern and can't wait to start it! I am relatively new to sewing and have been teaching myself through trial and error and videos and books. Can I use satin fabric for this pattern instead of silk?
