0:32-1:16 so... anyone remember the movie "The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad"? a Cyclops was fighting the dragon (known as Taro).
does anyone see that here (except the dragon rememberd it can breathe fire)? because i do.

1:00 and 1:09 oh, so this time, the lesser Dragonkin can speak English, instead of Wyrmspeak like in DD1.

2:52 what, the Drake can cast spells? it shouldn't.
notice that in DD1, the colour of the lesser Dragons matches the colours of the vocation: Fighter and Drake are red; Strider and Wyvern are yellow; Mage and Wyrm are blue.
as for the Fire Drake, Thunder Wyvern and Frost Wyrm, they're supposed to be Warrior, Ranger and Sorcerer, respectively.
the lesser Dragons are meant to be Arisen who died and reincarnated (you only reincarnate as an "true" Dragon if you fail to kill the Seneschal).

7:41-7:43 they have a version of "the early bird gets the worm"? huh, neat.

the Mystic Spearhand and Sorcerer have one cool-looking cloak, assuming it's the same one.

I think the cyclops and drake fight is a reference to dragon ages giant and dragon fight on the storm coast possibly ❤ that or odd resemblance either way two for one deal!!..😊😊

Im glad the archer in this playthrough has the sense to switch to slower more damaging attacks when the enemy is on the ground

I was always a strider or assassin in DD1 but this time around I think I’m going to try more of the magical classes

That spear thrust blast skill (Magicke Sprepelote) definitely same skill as Spirit Lancer "Col Spike" skill, that magic barrier (Mirror Shield) also from Spirit Lancer skill Shukris Guard

I love that Dragon's Dogma 2 is finally coming, but it's arrival made me feel like a boomer - because now that it's in the mainstream, I see people coming to complain about core features of the game, that us "veterans" fell in love with in the first place.
