As a Bangladeshi student, We are trapped in a nightmare. Over 1, 000 of us have been brutally murdered, more than 11, 500 injured, and over 20, 000 arrested by the Bangladesh police, BGB, RAB, ARM, Chhatra League, and the Awami League. We live in constant fear, witnessing friends tortured and silenced, our lives shattered by this relentless brutality. The terror and hopelessness are overwhelming, as every day brings new horrors and the crushing weight of injustice.🇧🇩

I was recently called less of a man and not being a real man because I refused to drive a car on the roads.
I expressed fears regarding driving, endangering other peoples lives and being either the victim or perpetrator of road traffic accident something I am already a victim of.
I stand by my decision that I am not yet ready to take such a responsibility even at 22 going on to 23, I also expressed the need to utilize an expert driver to be able to be given tailored guidelines to be able to gather enough confidence in my driving skills, I also explained solemnly that each time I go behind the wheel to drive, the risk of I getting involved in any car accident goes higher than normal pedestrians, and although I am acutely aware that I can't allow fear to govern my life, I still declare myself unready.
I also said that up til I can find am environment far away from any structures or people, can I find a conductive way to be able to fully experiment and practice certain maneuvers such as reversing and driving forward and steering away from obstacles.
I stated that it was simply grossly unfair that I get behind a wheel just for the sake of fitting in or conforming to societal expectations, I also said that my masculinity wasn't tied to my driving ability as many masculine men never drove a car in the past.
I can't endanger other people because I wanted to conform or simply because I wanted an ego boost.
I expressed desire for a conductive environment with which I can safely and consciously practice before I hit the road and only certain roads.
I wanted to be a gradual learning phase.

To think I am less of a man because I chose to make apparent some of my fears is really telling of the sayers than of me, it is not a joke when you are under the hot radiator of the car wondering why you can't feel your Legs.

He took billions of dollars away from Palestinians and used it for his own personal luxury. He could care less what happened to the average Palestinian with his stomach full and his pockets full of money he lived in luxury in Qatar surrounded by bodyguards.
