An evening out in Istanbul included visiting a bunch of delicious spots. I started out by cruising down in the center and seeing a live band play on the streets and then headed over to a local spot to test out the pide - like a Turkish pizza. After. I wandered further down the street and was able to locate a Turkish delight shop and tried some amazing treats.

Istanbul is really a beautiful and prosperous city, with joy and hope everywhere!
The owner of the dessert shop is so funny, he is like the dessert world version of Nusret Gökçe!
If you're still in Turkey, you should go to visit that famous Turkish chef! 👍😃🙏

I love Istanbul! If you are looking for a great dessert to try then I recommend you go to Hafiz Mustafa and try the saffron rice pudding with some Turkish coffee or tea, it is out of this world!

09:13 Yes. Simit, those delicious, round twisted bread. That's what I was talking about. Should have tried those instead of that bread. Only in Turkey would you get to eat simit. Its ok because we usually buy simits from bread shops since they are alot fresher than from street vendors.

A nice fun video! Istanbul is definitely a favourite city of mine. Interesting observation about the variations of pizza around the world, so true!!

A bit worrying with the guy with axe lol! Not sure that would pass health and safety in the West but all good fun nevertheless and adds to the vibe of this great city.

Thanks for showing us around Mac ✌️👏

I have been to Istanbul twice and as much as I liked the city I unfortunately didn't have a great experience with Istanbuli people. I don't want to say they were rude but very close. Even watching your videos in the last few days, you can sense some coldness in some of the people you met. The guy at the Pide place that was taken the money at the end and also took the tip out of your hand in a rough way without even saying thank you or smiling..In fact I remember a juice vendor almost came to hit me when I asked him to at least smile because the whole time while I was buying from him he was frowning as if he was angry I was there. I understand they are fed up with so many Syrian immigrants taken their place of work but this doesn't give them the excuse to be rude and unfriendly or angry at Tourists..The ones that were friendly ended up being Syrians like for example Mohammad in the Turkish delight store ( I heard him telling his helper bring the big knife, i.e. Ax) or that guy from who you bough Fouad's gift who offered you the juice in your video yesterday. I know other people who confirmed my impression and had similar experience but I'm sure this not all Turkish or Istanbulis are like this.
