A man is in custody for allegedly setting fire to an Advance Auto Parts store.

Flames broke out Tuesday, just after 9:30pm, in the 11900 block of Reisterstown Road.

The fire quickly turned into a three alarm response.

A Baltimore County Fire lieutenant became trapped after an interior ceiling collapsed, prompting a mayday to be called.

Other crew members located the disoriented lieutenant and were able to safely escort him from the building.

The lieutenant, who is assigned to Randallstown Station #18, has since been treated and released from the hospital.

Police arrested 19-year-old Elijah Morgan in connection to the arson.
