I am staying the course with NKE, SBUX, V and MCD. I actually sold off the KVUE shares I got in the spin off and put the proceeds right back into JNJ. Treated it like a special dividend. I am happy with that choice.

McDonalds also is one of the biggest real estate companies. They own many of the locations and collect rent from the franchise operators. I think i heard that the value of their real estate or the possible rent alone justifies their market cap so they could be pretty stable in a longer lasting economy crisis

When the stock market price goes down, the stock market strengthens, but the main reason for the stock price decrease is the increase of stock members, increasing government debt, lack of fair market value, not following the principle of procurement, increasing management and service costs, not properly preparing plans and policies, and not saving properly. I have built out 103 share position in Comcast in my Roth. I kind of look at Comcast as a bond with growth potential I wouldn’t be surprised if the stock is under $60 in five years. But with covered call strategies and dividend increases. I can make it beat inflation with no problem.

I like Visa, but the yield is a bit low for my plans (I am 52). On Friday, I bought my first share of CME. I also recently bought some MCD.
